Before beginning any project, I try to ponder the heart behind the task at hand. In this case, I worked directly with two retreat leaders who were organizing various women's retreats at Mount Hermon, a Christian Camp nestled in the redwoods of Santa Cruz, CA. The retreat directors cast a beautiful vision in the written form that would need to be translated to the visual form:
