USC Thornton School of Music

Design posters, postcards, brochures and ads that reflect each concert's creative vision.
DESIGNER, 2011-2015

Brief

While working at USC Thornton School of Music, I designed print and digital projects consistent with the University's graphic identity standards. Established visual identities for concert types. Calendars and signage. Select USC Thornton advertisements I created appeared in the Hollywood Bowl Program, Los Angeles Metrolink website, Daily Trojan Newspaper, and Chamber Music Magazine.
The Challenge: How can we generate excitement and wonder in an authentic way?
THE SOLUTION
Distinct posters that convey different genres of music
I was asked to create a consistent style for all LAPCA Masterclasses that would be offered at USC Thornton. The photos of these world-renowned musicians along with their instruments were strong enough to drive the design.
